Chris Morley took advantage of the heritage rule to play for Wales and represented us in the 2000 World Cup. The older brother of Great Britain international Adrian Morley, he signed for St Helens in 1991 and made his debut in the 1993-94 season. He helped St Helens lift the Super League trophy in 1996 and won a Challenge Cup winners medal a year later. That close-season brought about one of the biggest transfers in Rugby League history when Paul Sculthorpe moved from Warrington Wolves to St Helens. Morley was included as a make-weight in the deal which brought his Saints career to a close after 78 appearances. After that he didn't settle with one club, making 12 appearances for Warrington before moving on again to Salford. He played for Sheffield Eagles, Leigh Centurions, Oldham, Halifax and Swinton Lions before retiring from both club and country at the end of the 2006 season.
