Match Report

Movement has been on foot for some time to popularise Northern Union game in the West of England, and the decision of the match between England and Wales at Plymouth Saturday should much to achieve the object in view. The English bide proved to be much too clever for their opponents, and won 40 points to 16.

Scoring began the first three minutes, when Wagstaffe sent Moorhouse in. Still Wales kept it, and Chilcott, from wide pass by Coldrick, got another try, which was not improved Thomas. Then England woke up, and Jenkins, after being once baulked, ran in, the goal kick being wide.
