Sarah-Anne made history in 2016 as she became the first ever female player to represent Wales Rugby League at any level as she made her debut at Wales Wheelchair's inaugural Celtic Cup campaign, where she was a part of their winning side. Following a break from the playing aspect of the sport, Sarah-Anne took on admin roles at both Hereford Harriers, where should would assist the club in their fundraising and with the Wales national team as she was named Commercial Officer / Manager following the 2017 World Cup. She qualifies for the Wheelchair side through her Endometriosis and Lipoedema illnesses. Outside of sport, Sarah-Anne was a former Miss Wales contestant in her late teens.
