Seb Groves started playing Wheelchair Rugby League with Liverpool Lions in 2014, alongside another Welsh international Martin Beddis, and helped them win a tournament in Glasgow. He has since played for Medway Dragons (for whom he also played Handball), Woodland Warriors and Hereford Harriers. Internationally, he has also played for Exiles in Wheelchair Rugby League and England in Wheelchair 7s. He's a qualified coach and has worked with Woodlands and Hereford and is also a qualified referee.
