Adam John Button captained Wales in all three matches he played, which was in the 2014 Wheelchair Rugby League Four Nations. He played his club games for Hereford Harriers, and was also chairman of that club at the time he played for Wales. He qualified to play for Wales through the heritage role. Originally a Wheelchair Basketball player with Hereford Harriers, Adam switched sports again in 2015 when he concentrated on Para Ice Hockey, playing for Sheffield Steelkings and Cardiff Huskies. In 2019 he moved to Tervuren in Belgium as he took up more of a role at NATO headquarters and for Siemens. Also a horserider, in 2020 he moved his horse Carrow-Lux to Belgium and has been concentrating most of my time getting them both back into fitness. He hasn't ruled out a return to as Para Ice Hockey with Antwerp Phantoms now being his nearest club.
