A product of the junior rugby league system in South Wales, Connor was regularly the youngest, smallest and one of the most talented in all of his junior sides, normally playing an age-group up. He scored on his full Wales men's debut against Scotland in 2014, but that was after coming through the WRL junior system, winning caps for Wales U16, Wales Dragonhearts (with whom he played for a scored a try just after his 17th birthday), six Wales U19 caps, all after his Dragonhearts appearance, and Wales Students. His last caps for Wales were for Wales Nines in the 2018 Commonwealth Championships. Club wise he played for South Wales Scorpions and West Wales Raiders, sometimes keeping more experienced players out of the side. However the constant defeats disheartened him and he eventually moved to Australia and became successful playing Country Rugby League in New South Wales.

Also played in the Danny Jones Memorial Match - Keighley Cougars v Wales on 25/10/2015 scoring one try. Click here for details on this game.
