Chris Beasley was a member of the 2009 and 2010 European Cup winning campaign for Wales and played in the 2011 Four Nations, qualifying via the heritage rule. He came through the Australian Rugby League junior system and played for Sydney Roosters and Balmain Tigers before moving to France and playing for St Gaudens. In June 2006. following the culmination of the French season, he joined Celtic Crusaders, making 76 appearances, scoring four tries and one goal (including 20 Super League appearances and two tries in the 2009 season), and helped them to successive promotions in 2007 and 2008. He was transferred to Central Comets in Australia in 2009, spending three years at the club, before retiring from Rugby League at the end of 2012 to become a fireman.
