A convert from rugby union, she played the 15-person game for over 16 years before making the transition to League, initially playing for Llantrisant, then Pencoed, before being selected for both the Ospreys and West Wales U18s. She was the Sheffield University first team captain and went on to play for Pontyclun Panthers. A gym instructor and personal trainer by trade, she basically lives in the gym.
