Mark Andrew Jones, who is also known as MAJ, the team manager of Wales’ wheelchair side, has been involved as team manager of both the Wales Wheelchair and North Wales Wheelchair sides since their inception. His dedication and commitment won the Volunteer of the Year award at the 2018 Wrexham Sports Awards. Also a social player, Jones has turned out for Chester Gladiators Masters and is now a Wales Masters international. A keen supporter of rugby league in general, Jones also volunteers for Crusaders’ first-team and travels around the world watching Wales’ senior international team, reporting for Forty20 on the Papua New Guinea v Wales World Cup match in Port Moresby in 2017.
