Gracie Hobbs made her Wales debut in the win over Netherlands in June 2024 that saw Wales qualify for the World Cup. Hailing from Bolton-le-Sands in Lancashire, she started playing rugby union locally, starting out at Kirkby Lonsdale, she later became a regular for Kendal and West Park Leeds RUFC squads as well as representing Yorkshire at senior level. Through studies at Leeds Beckett University, she transitioned from union to league and following an open trial, she was selected in the Wales training squad. Also in 2024, she made her Super League debut for Huddersfield Giants.
