Carys Marsh qualifies for Wales through her Welsh born mum. A rugby league player since school, she started playing with community side Thatto Heath before signing for St Helens. She has represented England Students and Lancashire. Ahead of the 2019 season, she transferred to local rivals Wigan Warriors and in 2025, she made history by becoming the first Welsh international to win a Women's Challenge Cup Final winners medal. Outside of rugby league, she's a quantity surveyor.
