Jamie Reynolds started playing Wheelchair Rugby League to accompany his father who was confined to a wheelchair following an accident in work. Selected for Wales in 2021, Jamie became the second youngest player in history to win a senior Welsh cap when he played alongside his father Jason in the Celtic Cup, a record now unlikely to ever be broken due to the minimum international age being increased to 16-years-old. He then concentrated on running rugby union and played in the Dragons junior sides for a while, returning to Wheelchair RL with Torfaen Tigers and was the WRL League's top try and points scorer in 2025. Still plays running rugby union locally with RTB Ebbw Vale, as well as wheelchair with South Wales Jets.
