Ffion has been playing rugby all her life, having started at her local club at just six years old. An experienced 7s player, she represented Wales on that circuit, helping her side qualify for the 2018 Commonwealth Games through performances in the Rugby Europe 7s 2017 series. She captained the Welsh University 7s side before going onto the 15-a-side game with Scarlets before making her Wales debut in 2018. She went on to win 14 caps for Wales rugby union, also playing 7s for Wales and, club-wise, has turned out for Worcester Warriors, Gloucester-Hartpury and Exeter Chiefs in the Premier XVs. In 2021, she started playing rugby league, attended Welsh trials and signed for Rhondda Outlaws and the new Super League South side Cardiff Demons, scoring the winning try for the Demons with ten seconds to go in their Grand Final win. She won two Wales RL caps in 2021 before becoming a professional in rugby union and playing for Bristol Bears as well as Sevens in USA for Chicago Lions. After winning her 33rd rugby union cap, she returned to rugby league in 2026 with London Broncos, helping them to promotion to Super League in 2026.
