Ffion Owen played for Wales Rugby League in the first ever women's international in Neath in 2019. She also played for Rhondda Outlaws and East Wales. She started playing rugby union when she was 11 for Nelson Belles and she eventually worked her way into the regional game, captaining Cardiff Blues U18. She caps for Wales u18 helping them to beat England at the Millennium Stadium and for Wales 7s U18s in the Home Nations and the European Championships. Her father Adrian Owen was a Wales Dragonhearts international.
