Brogan Evans won one cap for Wales in the Women's game in 2023 before injury took its toll and she transferred over her talents to the Wheelchair game and was selected in the Wales squad for the Celtic Cup in 2025. She started off as a rugby union player at De Montfort University in Leicester, having already tried football and boxing as a teenager. After that, she moved to the Wirral and started playing for rugby union club Birkenhead Park Panthers, where she played for eight years. She eventually rose to becoming captain of Cheshire in rugby union, but thanks to encouragement from a friend, she decided to give league a go and signed with Warrington Wolves in 2021. She switched to Salford for the 2022 season, also representing England Lions at the end of that year. The top tackler and top ball carrier in Super League in 2023, Brogan came into the Welsh squad later that year, qualifying because of the heritage rule. A personal trainer when not playing rugby league, she has also coached rugby union at Liverpool John Moores University.
