Billy Rhodes won his lone Welsh cap while at the Pontypridd RLFC club during their only season in 1926-27. After the valleys club disbanded, he went north to Warrington where he scored 31 tries and kicked 73 goals in his 80 games over three season. He also represented Monmouthshire, playing against Glamorgan in 1927.
