Originally with Swansea, Tommy Grey turned professional with Halifax in 1906, where he spent three seasons before joining Huddersfield. At Fartown, he was a Yorkshire Cup winner after their 22-10 win over Hull KR in 1911, scoring a try and two goals, and a Challenge Cup winner in 1913 after Huddersfield beat Warrington 9-5 in the final.
