Very little is known about Bert Green. He played professionally for Pontypridd, Carlisle and then Barrow, also representing Monmouthshire in the non-County Championship match at Taff Vale Park, Pontypridd on Saturday 30 April 1927. There was a professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s in Australia for Bluebags and Wests named Bert Green but it is not known whether this is the same person.
