Very little is known of Wyndham Clifford Emery apart from he came up to Leigh from Bridgend (presumably their town's rugby union club) and he turned out for Wales and Other Nationalities, the latter in the infamous Welsh International that never was. He eventually returned to Bridgend and died when resident in the town in 1969 aged 72.
