Jakub first joined North Wales Crusaders through the club's school initiative when members of the club visited his high school. He became the first player to make his club debut through this campaign, aged just 14 in 2022 when he made a try scoring debut for the club. He qualifies for Wales through residency and made his debut in the Celtic Cup in 2025.
