Leanna Maybank started her rugby league with Rhondda Outlaws and was selected for Cardiff Demons in the Women's Super League South just two weeks after turning 17 years old. She remained an ever-present and was the youngest member of the 2021 Grand Final winning side, earning her a call-up to the Wales squad. She's also gone through the WRU junior system after starting with Nelson Belles, and has made a number of their regional and youth sides, captaining Dragons U18.
