Kim made history in 2019 by becoming part of the first ever Wales Women's Rugby League side and the first ever Crawshays' women's side, all within the space of two weekends. This was in addition to playing in a Cup Final with Pontyclun Falcons RU, winning two personal trophies and representing Cardiff Blues. She started her club rugby union at Barry RFC, where she eventually became club captain.
